Welcome to Bentrad Gaming. By creating an account or using this platform, you agree to the following terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Bentrad Gaming. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for your account credentials. Do not share your password. We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms.
3. Content You Post
You own the content you upload. By posting, you grant Bentrad a license to display it on the platform. Do not post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, or violates someone else's rights. Admins may remove content or ban users at their discretion.
4. Prohibited Conduct
No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, impersonation, spam, or malicious activity. No uploading malware or exploiting the platform. Violations result in account suspension or permanent ban.

6. Availability
Bentrad is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running but make no guarantees of uptime. We may modify or shut down features at any time.
7. Liability
Bentrad Gaming and its founders are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform. Use at your own risk.
8. DMCA & Copyright Takedowns
Bentrad respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on this platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request by contacting us through Discord or the platform. Please include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed
- The URL or location of the infringing content on Bentrad
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
We will review and respond to valid requests promptly. Repeat infringers may have their accounts permanently removed.
9. Intellectual Property
The Bentrad name, logo, design, and original platform code are the property of Bentrad Gaming. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without permission. User-generated content remains the property of the user who posted it.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Bentrad Gaming respects your privacy. Here's what we collect and why.
1. What We Collect
Account info: Username, email, password (hashed — we never see your actual password).
Content: Posts, comments, messages, reactions, and media you upload.
Usage data: Last seen time, session data for keeping you logged in.
2. What We Don't Collect
No tracking cookies. No analytics. No ad networks. No selling your data to anyone. Period.
3. How We Use Your Data
To run the platform — display your posts, deliver messages, show your profile. That's it.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (database) and Railway (hosting). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use httpOnly secure cookies.
5. Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. This permanently removes all your data — posts, comments, messages, reactions, everything. This cannot be undone.
6. Third Parties
We don't share your data with anyone. The only external services are Supabase (database/storage) and Railway (hosting).
7. Cookies
Bentrad uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This is a strictly necessary, functional cookie — it does not track you, profile you, or share data with advertisers. We also store a remember-me token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. No third-party cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies. That's a promise.
8. Children's Privacy
Bentrad Gaming is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and data immediately.
9. Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time from your profile settings. If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR — contact us and we'll honor them.

We may update this policy. We'll note the date at the top when we do.

Bentrad Gaming is an independent, community-driven platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game studio, publisher, or rights holder. All game titles, trademarks, logos, and brand names referenced on this platform belong to their respective owners. Any use of these names is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.
2. User-Generated Content
All clips, images, text posts, comments, and other media on Bentrad are uploaded by users. Bentrad Gaming does not create, verify, or endorse user-generated content. Users are solely responsible for the content they post and must ensure they have the right to share it.
3. Fair Use
Content shared on Bentrad — including gameplay clips, screenshots, and commentary — is intended for personal expression, community discussion, and entertainment. We believe this falls within fair use principles. However, if you are a rights holder and believe content on this platform infringes your intellectual property, please contact us through Discord and we will address it promptly.
4. No Guarantees
Bentrad Gaming is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding uptime, data preservation, or the accuracy of any content on the platform. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.
5. Limitation of Liability
Bentrad Gaming, its founders (Bent_Reality & FreeRad), and any contributors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes but is not limited to data loss, account issues, or interactions with other users. Use this platform at your own risk.
6. Age Requirement
Bentrad Gaming is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using this platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Bentrad may contain links to external sites (such as Discord). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites.
